Singaporean Team Secures Spot in eXTREMESLAND 2024 Shanghai Grand Final

The ZOWIE Asia eXTREMESLAND 2024 Singapore Qualifier concluded on 1 December with an electrifying finale at the newly inaugurated XM Studios Esports Hub. Esports fans and players gathered for a day of high-stakes Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) action as the top four teams in Singapore battled it out in the semifinals and finals.

Not dropping a single map throughout the qualifier, DreamScape emerged as the Singapore champion, securing a fully-sponsored trip to represent the country at the Grand Final in Shanghai from 17-20 January 2025. The team will compete against Asia’s top 16 CS2 teams for a share of the US $100,000 prize pool.

The event marked a milestone for Singapore’s esports community with the launch of the XM Studios Esports Hub, which provided a state-of-the-art setting for the competition. Fans enjoyed live matches from an immersive viewing area and participated in sponsor activities, including giveaways of exclusive merchandise like ZOWIE gear, Elixir Esports goodies, and more.

The grand finale featured not just thrilling esports action but also a vibrant atmosphere filled with fan engagement activities. Attendees had the opportunity to meet their favorite players, interact with gaming personalities, and experience the energy of a live esports event. VIP guests, including media representatives, enjoyed an exclusive VIP lounge with catered refreshments, enhancing their overall event experience.

Prior to the event finals, the group stages were held at the futuristic Elixir Esports Holland Village outlet. The group stages ran with strong support from fans and esports teams, creating an exciting and competitive atmosphere that set the stage for the grand finale.
