Infinix, a trendy tech brand for young consumers, marked another milestone in Malaysia’s esports landscape as the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Malaysia Season 16 concluded its thrilling playoffs at Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) from 13 to 16 November.
As the Official Gaming Smartphone Partner of MPL Malaysia , Infinix equipped all professional players with the Infinix GT 30 Pro. The GT 30 Pro served as the Official Gaming Smartphone of MPL Malaysia Season 16, making its tournament debut this season after succeeding the GT 20 Pro from Season 15.

Season 16 delivered a tightly contested campaign from start to finish. After six weeks of regular-season battles at Dewan Sri Putra, the top six teams — Selangor Red Giants OG Esports (SRG), CG Esports, Homebois, Aero Esports, Monster Vicious and Team Vamos — advanced to the Playoffs, each bringing their own momentum and storylines.
The Grand Finals saw SRG face CG Esports in a showdown that lived up to expectations, with SRG emerging victorious and securing their fourth consecutive MPL Malaysia tournament , extending their winning streak from Season 13 to Season 16. Both SRG and CG Esports also earned their slots to represent Malaysia at the upcoming M7 World Championship, MOONTON Games’ flagship international tournament
Players throughout the season trained, scrimmed and competed exclusively on the Infinix GT 30 Pro, a device built to handle the demands of professional esports. Its MediaTek Dimensity 8350 5.5G chipset delivered the responsiveness needed for high-pressure Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) gameplay, supported by a 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display for ultra-smooth motion clarity.

The phone’s ability to maintain stable 120fps in MLBB ensured athletes could execute precise maneuvers even in the most intense team fights, while the 3D VCC Cooling system kept temperatures consistent during extended matches.
A standout innovation this season was ZoneTouch Master, Infinix’s AI-powered touch optimisation technology. The system adapts to different on-screen regions to support various MLBB actions, maintaining uninterrupted joystick sliding, improving accuracy for rapid skill taps, stabilising short-distance movements on the mini-map and ensuring smooth drag controls for better camera management. This level of touch precision became a valuable asset for pros whose gameplay often hinges on split-second decisions.

Infinix also deepened its involvement in the local scene by sponsoring Homebois, Monster Vicious, Aero Esports and CG Esports throughout Season 16. CG Esports, in particular, captured fans’ attention by advancing from debutants to Grand Final contenders, earning their first berth on the M7 global stage.
“Season 16 truly reflected the growth and passion of Malaysian mobile esports,” said Wai Kiat Hong, Marketing Director of Infinix Malaysia. “The GT 30 Pro debuted this season as the Official Gaming Smartphone of MPL Malaysia, and we’re proud to see it perform consistently under tournament pressure. Congratulations to Selangor Red Giants on their incredible fourth championship and to CG Esports for their remarkable debut season performance. We look forward to continuing our support as Malaysian teams take on the world stage.”
With MPL Malaysia Season 16 now concluded, Infinix remains committed to supporting the development of esports talent and delivering performance-driven technology that elevates gameplay for athletes and fans across the country.
